Freighter Fever

You hold the ARROY KEYS to move and tap SPACEBAR to interact.

Move to the engine and tap it to open the interface. Here you can resize the surrounding square by grabbing the highlighted corner. Generators within the square power the engine and speed up the freighter!

Here's a couple of things to note, because they aren't clarified in-game:

1) The freighter does NOT take damage from asteroids, as long as the heat is below approximately 60 % capacity. Otherwise, the freighter becomes suceptible to it.

2) The turret is fautily coded, and will unfortunately not always live up to your expectations. Sorry!

3) You can pick up ICE, which may be dropped by breaking asteroids in whichever way you want. The chance to spawn ice is approximately 25 %. Remember to pick this up and put it in the GREEN CONTAINER to INSTANTLY REDUCE HEAT.

4) Oh, and the ice despawns after 6 seconds. No. Matter. What.

This game uses an outline shader that was recreated step by step from a YouTube video, titled Easy 2D Outline Shader in Godot 4, by Single-Minded Ryan.

Moreover, most of the audio in the songs are created using Nintendo VST, which is a FL Studio plugin by Matthew Montag.

Finally, most sound effects are created using DrPetter's SFXR audio randomizer tool.

The game misses its custom font file. Some strings are displayed in the default font, causing visual inconsistency. I swear it looked good on my PC!
